Description

2 copies of a delightfully bizarre 16 page pamphlet advertising Quaker Oats. Not sure what marketing genius in the late 1800's thought juxtaposing giant crickets and other insects next to Quaker Oats would make people have strong desires to eat the product, but somehow, it works. A character on the front beckons for you to open the book with the words "Don't miss the fun! I'm here to show the way. Please step inside without delay." Booklets measure 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".

Condition

Both booklets have rusted staples and rust migration. Otherwise in excellent condition. Please review scans closely for further condition and please let us know if you have any questions prior to bidding.
