circa 1840-1850, stenciled "J. Dessoir" for Julius Dessoir, New York, shaped marble top with reeded edge, four graduated drawers with stylized scrolled panels and maple interior, octagonal form columnar stiles, conforming paneled base, 37 x 50 x 23-1/2 in.

structurally sound, original marble top with a 5 inch filled thin crack and scattered minor discolorations and abrasions, well restored finish, retains attractive color and figuring, base with small veneer repairs, some tiny filled areas, other general surface wear and imperfections from age and use
