probably Pennsylvania, late 18th/early 19th century, large writing arm form with arrow and full bamboo spindles, plank seat, poplar and other mixed woods, ochre paint, 46-1/4 x 40 x 34 in.

Condition

lacking drawer, patch and repair at hand grip, later brace at one rear leg attachment, one side rung replaced, resurfaced with traces of earlier paint, possibly later brace at front leg attachments, iron brace at writing arm attachment (possibly as made), break and separation at one rear stile and arrow spindles are loose, typical cracks and repairs at curved back
