Condition
Framed: 21 3/4 x 27 1/2 inches.
In overall fair condition. Oil on canvas that has been cut from its original stretchers, laid to board with the board being canvas backed. Craquelure visible throughout and cracks along the old stretcher lines visible to the front of the work. The current coat of varnish is slightly darkened/yellowed. Examination under UV shows an even varnish throughout and one 1” x 1” area of over-painting, likely a patch, in the upper right quadrant, in the sky.
