First collected edition.Celebratory lives of Izaak Walton's favorite men. Walton's claim to fame is, of course, his Compleat Angler; he and Henry Wotton in fact often fished together. Condition

Spine and front cover darkened and soiled, minor wear to joints; top margin trimmed close touching headlines, light browning and rare spotting (but affecting title and frontispiece); overall an attractive copy, near fine.
