WWII CANADIAN INGLIS BROWNING MK II INERT DISPLAY
1942 WWII Canadian RAF Browning MkII Inglis .303 caliber inert display. Mounted on wood base. Non-functioning blank right side plate. Measures 34" long, 3.50" wide, and 7.25" tall. Originally taken from crashed Hurricane fighter XII5488 flown by Pilot Officer Norman Brunton. The plane went down on November 30, 1943 during a training mission over Nova Scotia. The wing machine gun was presented to Brunton by members of the 125th Fighter Squadron. Photocopies of the crash incident report and Brunton's RAF ID card.
