(Disney, 1941) A rare original concept by Mary Blair for the unproduced "Baby Ballet.", a short intended to be part of a "Fantasia" sequel. This is one of the earliest projects that Mary Blair worked on after arriving at the Walt Disney Studio and she created this piece while under the direction of Joe Grant and Silvia Holland. The artwork has an image size of 1.5"x9" and has been accomplished in gouache on brown animation paper. The 12 field, 5-peg hole paper measures 12"x10" and is in good condition with pinholes, yellowing from age, and wear to its edges and corners.
