(Universal, 1954) A very rare Belgian poster for the original 3-D release of The Creature From the Black Lagoon, signed with dedication by the film's director Jack Arnold. With "RELIEF" in large type at the bottom being French for "Third Dimension," this is noted as one of very few posters printed in any country with a 3-D designation actually printed on the poster, as opposed to glued on in a printed addition. Measuring 14.5"x22", the poster is in very good condition, with slight fading from age, some original but discreet folds and creases, and light wear mainly visible in the borders including pinholes, a .5" chip, waviness, a repaired 1" edge tear, and tape residue on back.
