Comprising two pairs of Báxoje (Iowan) moccasins, a pair of moccasin uppers, a single moccasin upper, and a pair of Neshnabé (Potawatomi) garters.

The second pair of moccasins with paper label inscribed: Rec. 7/8/24 Ascertain whether Iowa or Menominee
The moccasin uppers with paper label inscribed: 3 beaded moccasins Iowa Tribe Okla 7/8/24 W.C.B.
The garters with paper label inscribed: Beaded Moccasins Missouri Tribe Nice (Believe this is an error and Iowa - same as other Iowa in this shipment 3/27/30 RHR) Rec. 7/8/24. Traded to Stephan Polyak 9/3/65 for green beaded Pottawatomie garters presumably buffalo hair. Moccasins undoubtedly Iowa - Iowa shipment RHR.
Garters also accompanied by a handwritten note stating: 9/3/65 Pr. beaded garters (dark green) - Potawatomie (Prairie Band), Mayetta, Kansas. Collected in 1952 by Stephen Polyak from Rev. Alex Eckert, a missionary on the Potawatomi Reservation. Obtained by Rev. Eckert from a white man who lived on the reservation for many years.
