A Lakota (Sioux) pictorial beaded hide pipe bag
Fourth quarter 19th century, the soft hide with yellow pigment, each edge fringed and beaded, one panel with a horse being led by a man, the other a multicolored geometric beaded panel, with quilled rawhide slats, and fine hide fringe at the bottom.
