Fine Classical mahogany and inlaid dressing table with mirror, Boston, circa 1825. Finely constructed with choice materials and veneers. Raised paint decorated mirror with scrolled brackets supported on burl veneer stiles. The two drawer cabinet and bureau with rich plumb pudding mahogany tops. Outset legs with distinctive rope twist carving. The case with a burl veneer frieze above a bank of four short drawers, one fitted as a writing desk.
