Finding a George Sosnak hand painted baseball is any collector's dream. One autographed by the player it is honoring is insane. This baseball has half of the baseball painted honoring Vern Law and the 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates World Series Championship. The sweet spot and two panels are not painted, revealing a ble pen signature by Vern Law. These original paintings were primarily done by Sosnak in the 1960's through the early 1990's until his death. Many consider his paintings folk art while others simply call them works of art. Highly sought after, some have made it on display at the Baseball Hall of Fame. This colorful original exhibits overall great condition with one spot on the Pirates logo that has worn off.
