Description

Iconic Model 17 "Long John" armchair in bent beech wood and cane. Originally designed by Michael Thonet around 1865; this example was produced by FMG of Poland - a factory established by Josef Hoffmann - c. Mid- to Late 20th Century. Stamped indistinctly with partial label reading "FMG" on seat rail. Dimensions: H 44" x W 20.5" x D 21" x SH 18.5" Condition: In very good vintage condition overall; frame with minor rubbing and finish losses, scattered dings and scuffs. PB079

All the items in this auction remain at our Gallery in Norwalk, CT for pickup or shipping. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Monday, November 6th - Friday, November 10th WEEKDAYS ONLY, 9-5.
