Description
The lot features an Indian hide parfleche beaded sheath attributed to the Cheyenne pattern paired with an old dagger fashioned from an antique bayonet. The antique knife shows a bayonet blade with flase back edge, brass hilt hand guard and old Elk tine antler that has deeply yellowed from age with a metal pommel end. The sheath shows a parfleche rawhide being slightly softened with sinew and trade thread sewing. The front has classic Cheyenne pattern beadwork in glass beds with colors of Cheyenne pink, greasy yellow and red having a couple crazy beads throughout. The knife measures 11.25"L with a 7"L blade. Sheath is 13"L with bottom fringe ties and 3.5"W.
