Pair of Chinese Famille Rose Fu lions on bases, each in two pieces, the pair modeled as a male Fu lion with his paw resting on a ball and a female Fu lion with her paw resting on a puppy, the figures meant to face one another, each rising on a rectangular waisted base decorated with lotus scrollwork, bats, and auspicious cloud forms, apparently unmarked.

Scattered glaze and manufacturing imperfections, the male having a tight hairline on the back of his right front foot, a flake under his right ear and flakes to enamel, female with glaze imperfections on the chest, a tight hairline underneath the base, loss of tails on both, loss of gilt on bases to both, one base with restored breaks.
