Description
Roman blown glass bird shaped bottle or Gutti, ca 1st century CE, having an elongated cylindrical neck terminating to an everted or inward slanting rim, above a body tapering to a pointed tail, the base slightly flattened.
Note: Bottles of this form were used to dispense minute quantities of perfume, wine, or oil after bathing or as part of a sacrifice.

Condition
Appears to be intact with a pencil lead size hole in the back and part of the tail missing, having accretions as well as, gold and silver iridescence.
