English George III mahogany veneer banjo barometer and thermometer, 19th century, having a scrolled broken pediment, and painted image of a ship at sea, apparently unmarked.

Approximate dimensions: h. 43", w. 12", d. 3".

Condition

Area of molding missing from left side of cornice, veneer damage and loss, dry/damp convex glass panel and mercury tube is not present, thermometer appears to not be in working condition, later painted image, glass convex panel over the level
