Anthony Redmile six abalone mounted desk boxes, Anthony Redmile six abalone mounted desk boxes, 1970s, three mounted with amethyst finials, with silver-plated mounts, four labelled 'redmile objects 73 Pimilico Road London England', largest 12.5cm high (6) The British designer Anthony Redmile was known for his extravagant and eccentric designs. Trading from the 1960's, by the 1970's his business had flourished to such an extent that expanded into a large shop in London's Sloane Street. Influenced by antique classical styles, he re-interpreted these into furniture, lighting and decorative objects utilising unusual and exotic materials alongside resin and fibreglass. Condition Report: 2 x 6cm high, 10cm diameter - some knocks and chips to the edges. 9cm high, 7.5cm diameter - tarnishing to the mounts 12cm high, 9.5cm diameter - Missing panels. not able to open. 10.8 x 8.7cm x 5cm chips to the corners 7.5 x 4cm x 10.5cm - missing panels
