Description
Silver ladies` cigarette case with the image of the family coat of arms, with the owner`s name and date of birth (1897) on a guilloche background, covered with yellow (warm) enamel. Rectangular cigarette case with rounded corners. Spring latch. The cigarette case was made to order, as the coat of arms, the name of the owner and the year are applied to the surface of the cigarette case before its surface is covered with enamel. Silver, stamp, engraving, guilloche, transparent enamel, mount. Austria-Hungary, Vienna, after 1872. In very good condition. Marks: GAS maker`s mark, assay mark in a hexagonal shield with the letter A (Vienna), silver assay indicator 2 (indistinct, corresponds to 9001000), female head oriented to the right.
