The red copy of "The Big Book of Buttons" by Hughes & Lester.
This is the most sought after book of Button collectors as it is so chocked full of images and info that one can never even comprehend everything in it. This is the 2nd edition known as the red version. The original Blue Book of the BBB was introduced in 1980 and now there is a third version that sells for around $400 for a two volume edition.

Issued: DIVISION 1=PRE 1918 AND DIVISION 3 IS AFTER 1918
Dimensions: SM=Less than 3/4", Medium=3/4" to 1 1/4". Large=1 1/4" and above, extra large=1 3/4" and above
