Art Nouveau Carved Alabaster Lamp, early 20th c., of a nude woman in a clam shell, on a stepped integral rectangular base, H.- 15 in., W.- 11 1/2 in., D.- 10 in. Provenance: Property from a Gentleman Antiquarian and Dealer, Mandeville, Louisiana.
Condition
Elegant offering. Shell shaped surround with abrasions to edges. Minor soiling throughout. The figure's proper left hand is detached but present. Lovely example.
