French Provincial Carved Oak Coffer, 19th c., the top and sides with folding iron handles, H.- 24 1/2 in., W.- 30 in., D.- 22 in.

Condition

Great scale. Structurally sound. Scattered surface abrasions, marks and indentations. Lacking exterior escutcheon and interior compartment lock. Strap hinges and bale handles appear to be original. Two wooden runners underneath front and back. Now on modern casters.
