Late 19th/Early 20th Century
Ivory knob handle carved as four cockatoos amidst foliage, circling a central column. Parrots with bead eyes and posed in differing positions, including one bent over and two nuzzling. Contrasting disk, probably ebony, inlaid at top of column. Throat and ferrule possibly whalebone. Dark and heavy wood shaft.
Length 37.5".

Age lines and uneven coloration of ivory/bone. Shaft with some light scratches.
