Carved and Gilded Aedicule Frame, Europe, 18th/19th century. The molded pediment above a giltwood cherub relief plaque applied to frieze, the eared stiles embellished on sides with applied volute brackets and garlands of fruit, over bracketed base with turned pendants at ends, all centering a tall round-arched aperture with deep walls and bead-molded liner, 38cm wide, 7cm deep, 66cm high (15in wide, 3 3/4in deep, 26in high).
