14 x 11 in. black and white photograph dry-mounted to a card mount. Inscribed on the mount beneath the photograph: "To Ed Liphardt, kindest regards from Harry Truman." Framed. With pencil annotation beneath photograph in an unidentified hand: "Metro News - Liphardt."
The signature accomplished beneath a photograph of Truman playing the piano. Truman once quipped: “My choice early in life was either to be a piano-player in a whorehouse or a politician. And to tell the truth there's hardly any difference.”
