Description
American. 1950s. This Shure 520 SLB “Green Bullet” Harmonica Microphone is from the late 1950s / early '60s. It is equipped with a magnetic controlled transducer set at Low Z. Despite its Low Z setting it actually has a very dirty distinct muddy sound that is sought after by harp players while using the harmonica. These were originally intended as "general purpose" mics for dispatch and communications. The mic has a very "rockabilly" sound that provides musicians with a 30's - 50's experience. This Illinois-made mic is mounted on an original Shure S36 matching green stand. 9.5" x 7" x 5".
