An 16s, 23j, 1899 model VANGUARD, made by The Waltham Watch Co. in Waltham, MA, around 1904. This beauty features a bridge plate movement housed in a "OLYMPIC" engraved case, serial no. 13185. The porcelain dial is slightly sunk for the seconds bit. There are no apparent hairlines or flaws in the dial. The blued, spade hands retain good luster save a little minor rust. This watch was wound three turns and is working, but undoubtedly will need to be cleaned and maintained. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: Case: 2" Dia.
