Description
2 Chinese Bronze Qilins, a seated Qilin paper weight with dark patina, and a small Qilin mounted on a 4 sided table over a 6 character seal face; together with 2 Japanese Shishi Temple Dogs in bronze with red lacquer coverings and a black stoneware Elephant with a monkey on its back. Width of bronze Qilin paper weight 5 inches (12.7 cm.). PROVENANCE: Property from the Collection of Steven J. Harvis, New York, with the Japanese Shishi Dogs with his labels affixed #618/1 & #618/2.
Condition
Age related wear and rubbed patina to each, the Shishi Temple Dogs with traces of solder to bottoms of feet, the elephant with front left foot repaired with infill.
