Description
Fantastic piece of late 19th to early 20th century Chinese armoire. It is in the style of Ming Dynasty furniture, solid wood that appears rosewood. Doors are adorned with a hand carved scene with gold paint, flanked by calligraphy in black lacquer. The front brass plate with late is engraved with people, animals and foliage as well as additional writing, slide lock and ornate door pulls. The drawers are dovetail constructed with what appear to be original pulls of a very thin metal, possibly brass and hand crafted. Piece appears to have been built using mortise and tenon construction. Measures approx.?69" tall x 24" x 45" or nearly 6ft tall.

Condition
Overall in great condition for age. Appears mostly original, the back panels may have been replaced, round holes added more recently to be used as an entertainment center.
