Description
Roman, Imperial period, North Africa, ca. 3rd to 5th century CE. A trio of delightful terra sigillata fragments, each decorated with relief motifs - one of Hercules carrying the fierce Erymanthian boar over his shoulder, another showing a leaping leopard, and the last featuring a furry ram with impressive, curved horns. Size of largest (ram): 2.8" W x 2.6" H (7.1 cm x 6.6 cm)

Condition
All are fragments of larger pieces as shown. Ram has been professionally repaired with light restoration over break line. Nice remaining detail and light earthen deposits in areas. Old Royal Athena collection label that was previously on verso of ram relief included with lot.
