An artisan made Haitian textile fabric drapeau voodoo flag throw pillow. A folk art work produced in a naive self taught style and decorated with a profusion of hand applied beads depicting geometric shapes and a pair of serpents, with the names Dambala and Oveda written in beaded letters. Dambala, also spelled Damballa, is considered to be the primordial creator of all life, and one of the most important spirits in Haitian Voodoo. He is traditionally portrayed as a great serpent. No apparent signature.
