Item Details

Description

Scarcely found group of four Van Ryper ships half models on custom waterline bases with backboards. The vessel include the Acadia of Eastern steamship lines in company livery and logo on stack. The Boston another eastern steamship lines steamship in great detail. The third is the Drottingham, a Swedish American liner and the fourth is the cantuaria a Brazilian steamship. All of these models came from the Charles Van Ryper workshop on Martha's Vineyard. These models are in the boxes with worn labels from quarter master models, A private label for a Van Ryper wholesale buyer who resold them to his customers. Great group of Van Rypers in the scarcely found half model with backboard style. 3" H x 12" L all the same
