Lot of five antique woman's hand fans including one in its original box. Lot includes the following; fan in original box with hand carved bone guards and sticks with needlework of florals on silk in excellent condition; large 12 1/5" tall bone guards with bone sticks fan with needlework on silk which has deteriorated and is in poor condition; 11 3/4" tall hand carved boxwood guards and sticks fan with hand painted on paper or parchment scenes of Asian characters in a garden setting. The figures each have hand painted applied faces done on very thin slices of bone and the fan is in excellent condition; fan with bone sticks with bone guards and having decorated silk interior with some damage to the silk and finally a small 8 1/2" tall boxed fan with silver decorated lacquer guards and having hand painted florals on silk all in excellent condition.
