Vintage hand-painted Art Deco style porcelain napkin holder, elegant lady hands holding a hand fan, lustreware glazes, marked on the bottom with a paper label "Hand-Painted, BATSON'S", c.1940s, probably made in Japan. Batson [or Batson's] was an US American company specialized in imports from Japan, active 1940s-1950s.
The napkin holder is 4" [10.2cm] deep; 6.1/4" [15.8cm] tall; 2.1/2" [6.4cm] x 6" [15.2cm] wide including fan; no chips, a little gold wear, very good condition.
