Description
An exceptional late Georgian early Victorian period English silver footed cup executed in the repousse style with an interior gold wash. This cup features an acanthus leaf and shell scroll feet, central image of a boy lying on a dog / wolfs back outside a door flanked on both sides by heavy scroll work, and and a scroll handle. With a city stamp of London, maker's mark of John Wilmin Figg, and a date letter of 1837. Total approx. weight is 3.28 troy oz (gross). from a Manhattan, NY estate. Dimensions cup measures approx. 2.75" in height.

Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents.
