(5) ***The Maskeleynes were a family of famous British magicians between the end of the 19th and the early 20th century. John Nevil Maskelyne (1839 – 1917) was an English stage magician and inventor of the pay toilet, along with other Victorian-era devices. His son Nevil took over the family's company after his father's death. He was a public detractor of Guglielmo Marconi in the early days of radio.
