Description
Otterville, Ontario. 1977. Softwood. An interesting folk art carving by Harold Lee of a farrier dressed in a blue shirt and black pants bending to trim a horse's hoof. He is hunched over the brown horse's hoof and trimming with a file. Both pieces are fixed to a green-painted pine base. Signed, "H Lee 77", on bottom. 8.5" x 13.5" x 4.25". From the Susan Murray Collection.

Very good condition. Old break to hind leg of horse.
