Vintage Sterling Mexican Tiger's Eye Pendant/Necklace, 18". The pendant is a filigree open design with scrolled designs and rope accent around the bezel-set 16mm by 12mm tiger's eye stone. It has a swing bail. There is a split at the one scroll that would be at the appx. 2:00 position. A jeweler could repair that or it can be worn as is. It is signed madein Mexico on the back and marked .925 and tested. The pendant is appx. 1940's-1950's. The herringbone sterling 18" chain is appx. 1.9mm wide with a diamond cut diagonal design on both sides. The chain is marked .925 Italy and is newer than the pendant, appx. 1970's-1980's. The chain is in very good condition. Both pieces tested. Total weight of the necklace is appx. 12.60 gr. Chain is in very good condition. Pendant is very good other than the defect as described..
