Description
Antique late 19th century Austro Hungarian Hermann Bohm enameled silver jeweled with pearls, garnets and turquoise pin brooch with drop dangle.
Enameled on the back.
Marked on clasp HB and Austro Hungarian dog's head mark for silver.
It measures 2 x 1 1/4 inches.
Weight : 11.22 Grams

Hermann Böhm was a very prolific and inventive Austrian goldsmith who,together with Hermann Ratzersdorfer, spread the taste for Revivalist goldsmith's work. He studied the precious items in the Imperial Collections and the Green Vaults in Dresden and employed local artisans to work onminiature paintings, enamels and hardstone to create objects of "Rothschild" fashion for an international clientele. He was recorded as working in Vienna from 1866 until 1922.
