A small group of film reels including two 16mm reels from the 1981 Rock Island Railroad bankruptcy auction with the original lot number labels. Lot 245 in a 15 1/4" metal case is listed in the bankruptcy auction catalogue as Color Sound Film Promotional RR Footage on Many American RR's. Lot 265 is in a 14" metal case with a label that reads Rock Island Lines Presents Golden Journey Produced By Zenith Cinema Service, Inc. Print No. 4. The case shows wear along the edges and discoloration and tearing to the label. The 8mm film in box is titled When Steam Was King. The box shows discoloration and wear from storage.
