Description
A group of four assorted railroad lanterns and lamps that have been electrified. A modified lantern for Lehigh Valley with the burner pot and fount removed and replaced with bulb and cord. The Adlake lantern is embossed with L.V.R.R. on the shoulder and the tall clear globe is embossed with LVRR in a rectangle. A modified lantern for the New York Central Railroad missing burner pot and fount. The Dietz Vesta lantern is embossed New York Central on the shoulder and the red globe is embossed New York Central. The lantern shows moderate rust along the bottom and top. Part of a signal lamp with red lens for the Grand Central Terminal that has been mounted to a wooden base and labeled. The lamp shows moderate wear and discoloration along the edge with paint missing. A portable house lamp for with a lamp shade graphic of the Sante Fe train on one side and Illinois Central on the other side, manufactured by Found Images Witchita Falls, Texas. The lamp shade shows mild to moderate discoloration and stain spots. See photos for best description.
