C. 1913. The Victor talking Machine Co. The XXV phonograph was first introduced in 1913 and given the name "Schoolhouse" due to its specific use in schools and institutions. It was also the last phonograph to include an external horn, which stopped production in 1925. CONDITION: The cabinet is quarter-sawn oak with matching horn, complete with a hinged lid, a lower shelf and side pullout shelf. Plays 78 RPM records and includes 1. The phonograph is with the serial no. 2786. The oak horn is in exceptional condition with a great decal. Overall in excellent condition, showing some signs of wear and use. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 21 - 1/2" x 29" x 58".
