This photograph is in generally excellent condition. Typical of ferrotyped photographs, in raking light there are tiny hairline scratches and small impressions, which should not be considered condition issues. The following are visible in raking light: a 3-inch hairline scratch in the upper right quadrant; and a few small, soft handling creases. In the lower margin is a 3/8-inch sharp crease that extends very slightly into the image. There is minor margin edge and corner wear. In the lower left corner is a faint brown stain which does not affect the image.

The reverse is faintly age-darkened at the edges.
