Grade: PGA MS 63 - This is the second year of the Barber Quarter series. Finding Uncirculated coins can be tricky as the novelty of the 1892's had worn off and the 1893s became more scarce in all grades. The coin is struck in 0.9 silver with an actual silver weight of 0.1808 oz. the design by Charles E. Barber features an obverse with a right facing Liberty wearing a pileus, a crown fashioned from an olive branch and a small headband with the word "LIBERTY," with the motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST" above her head. The reverse depicts a eagle holding a scroll inscribed "E PLURIBUS UNUM" in its beak with an olive branch in its right claw and 13 arrows in its left representing the 13 colonies.
