Richmond, VA: Richmond Enquirer, circa late July 1861 A map of the northeastern part of Virginia and the District of Columbia. The recent Battles of Blackburn's Ford and Bull Run / Manassas are not named in the text, only described as "the battle of the 18th" and "the battlefield of the 21st," as well as "the route that the enemy advanced to the attack." The battlefields are identified with boxes at the center of the map. The two bridges across the Potomac to Washington are identified and described. Parrish & Willingham 6200.
