Waterloo County, Ontario. Pine. A rare survivor Germanic stepback square-nailed blind door cupboard with wide stiles, three lapped drawers to the lower section, and an unusual three-panel configuration on the lapped upper doors. The lower drawers are flush-mounted with beaded frames. All door panels are double-stepped. The cupboard has wide bracket feet and a well-detailed cornice, original iron hinges and wooden knobs. Although the cupboard was altered long ago by the removal of the sides and front of a pie shelf, the backboards have retained their original length.
