This polychrome enameled porcelain egg was crafted to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the White House and features portraits of John and Abigail Adams and a sterling silver vermeil eagle, revealing a removable sterling silver vermeil White House, housed in a gold-toned handled case

Notes: The egg also features a quote from a speech by John Adams from November 2, 1800: "Before I end my letter, I pray heaven to bestow the best of blessings on this house and all that shall hereafter inhabit it. May none but honest and wise men ever rule under this roof."
