An Old Sheffield Silver-Plated Entree Dish, Mark of Matthew Boulton
circa late 18th/early 19th century, with twin stars or twin suns mark to underside, rectangular form dish with pierced interior set with a warming insert having a gadrooned rim (also stamped with twin suns mark), lion form double handles, raised on (4) paw feet, topped with a domed lid with a rocailles top handle, stag monogram to lid.
8 1/2 x 14 x 8 3/8 in.
