Fine crafted set of antique beam balance scales. Circa 1920. We do not know the manufacturer of these scales but they do have a placard bearing the number 2338. This piece is in very good condition with very minor wear. 35H x 39W x 11D in. These are heavy scales with a heavy cast iron base. Made like they used to make them! Provenance: This is from private collection in an $8.5 million estate with the downtown of the movie Tombstone actually built in to one wing of this sprawling estate. This piece was on display there.
