Chinese gilt bronze Quan Yin, the goddess of mercy seated in the lotus position, the right hand raised in Shuni mudra, the seat of patience, dressed in long robes decorated with flowers at the hems and cuffs, wearing ornate jewelry and a crown centering a small bottle of the elixir of life, retaining vestiges of gilt and red pigment, apparently unmarked.

Condition
Craquelure, scattered spots of corrosion on fronts of legs and around edges of sculpture, not distracting, corrosion to the interior, scuff marks under the chin, no breaks or losses.
